Apply to participate in a fine art portrait project
Green Paws Fine Art Studio is relocating to Roseville, California in 2026 and is now seeking dogs in the Roseville and greater Sacramento area for upcoming creative projects focused on fine art portraiture. These sessions emphasize intentional poses, expressions, and character to create strong, expressive images. Work created for artistic exploration, personal projects, and print competition. Selected photographs may be used in fine art exhibitions or competition submissions. If you feel your dog would be a great fit for this type of work, you're invited to apply for consideration. Sessions will take place once the studio opens in the Roseville area later in 2026.
How it works
• Submit the application below to be considered for a Creative Portrait Project.
• Selected participants will be invited to choose a session date from the project calendar.
• Selected participants will complete a brief confirmation process to secure their session date.
• Sessions will take place at our new Roseville, CA studio.
• These are calm, directed sessions designed to create refined fine art imagery in a low-distraction environment.
What You Receive
• You will receive a beautifully matted 10x7 fine art print selected by the photographer from the final images, along with a matching web-ready digital file for sharing.
• While these sessions are created as part of a portrait project, you may request to set up a viewing to purchase additional artwork from the session if you choose.
Projects are best suited for confident, cooperative dogs with expressive features or visually interesting traits. No advanced training is required, just a willingness to engage and work with direction. All ages and breeds welcome.
