Always Growing, Always Learning

In this ever-evolving industry, I believe it's essential to keep growing, not just as an artist, but as a person. Pushing myself to improve means showing up as the best I can be, both for myself and for the clients who trust me to tell their stories. One of the most powerful ways I’ve found to keep learning and refining my craft is through print competition.

Since entering my first local PPA affiliate competition in 2011, I’ve continued to challenge myself at the local, state, national, and international levels. That journey has shaped me as a photographer in ways I never expected. My work has been recognized as a 2022 Grand Imaging Award Top Ten Finalist, recipient of the Imaging Excellence Award, and seven-time Medalist in PPA’s International Photographic Competition.

I’m proud to have earned my Master of Photography (M.Photog.) and Photographic Craftsman (Photog.Cr.) degrees, along with the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation through the Professional Photographers of America. I was also honored to be among the first to earn the Master of Animal Imagery certification with Animal Image Makers (AIM).
